“I swear I will never talk to you ever again!”
Those were the last words I told my mother.
“I’ll give you six months tops,” she retorted,
“Before you come crawling back to me.”
With bitterness I disconnected the call.
Seven years has now gone.
Some days I wonder
How is she.
This was written to conform with the ten-sentence exercise from Playing With Words text book and it was one of my favourite even though it took me days to come up with it.
